THE TOOL FAIR OF METHODS
OF NON-FORMAL EDUCATION
under the patronage of prof. Jan Sokol
Within the framework of the international project „Sailors on the CitizenShip“ – Fair XXL
Hotel Impuls, LIBEREC, Czech Republic, 10. - 11.5. 2010
LOS – Liberec civil society organizes within the framework of the international project „Sailors on the citizenship“, a two-day fair of non-formal education methods in education for a citizenship and youth participation in public life.
Aims of the fair:
Present and share informal methods of youth work in the areas of citizenship education and youth
participation in public life, which are used in different socio-cultural contexts of Europe.
Present examples of good practice of projects and initiatives that led to the promotion
of active citizenship of youth
Inspire attendees and enhance the quality and variety of educational activities
Methods will be presented in the form of interactive "workshops". Examples of good practice
will be presented through the presentation and subsequent discussion.

- Speech by Mgr. Michal Urban, head of the Czech National Agency of Youth in Action programme on

Working language of the fair is English.
Methods and examples of good practice will be recorded and their selection will be part of the publication, which will be published 1.9.2010.

Participation in the festival is free, but the number is limited to maximum number of 25 participants. Registration up to 4.5.2010
